From the very beginning of my VA loan application with Veterans United, Cory and Ashley did everything possible to make the approval and the closing of my loan go smoothly! I totally enjoyed working with them. Both Cory and Ashley would call or email me on every single step of getting not only the VA loan approval but getting my loan closed on the date stipulated in the seller’s contract.

Be prepared for a lot of steps... and remember to be patient. A lot of things about the process may not make sense, but once you reach the end you'll be able to see what those were about. Check your email often - throughout the day - and respond to things from them as quickly as you can to help keep everything running as smoothly as possible.Don't go crazy buying stuff for the new house until AFTER you've closed and gotten everything connected, hooked up and paid for - the power, water, etc. Remember, things can fall through on you until after everything is signed at closing.

We had a GREAT experience with Veterans United and their entire team, especially Maggie Schuh. The process was stemless and we felt like we were in good hands. We did have a family friend who is does home mortgages and she asked us to use her and that she could beat or match Veterans United rates, fees, etc. We did entertain the friend, but the process had some bumps in it.
