Austin, our Loan Officer, was very knowledgeable and communicated with us often to keep us informed about the process and what steps we needed to take to enable a timely closing. Jennifer, our Loan Coordinator, helped us gather all of the information and kept is on track throughout the process.
As one can imagine buying a home can be anxiety-inducing but Austin and Jennifer kept us grounded and made sure that the experience was pretty painless, at least from the mortgage perspective. I highly, highly recommend working with them if you have the opportunity!

Overall it was a good experiment the loan officers were kinda all over the place when it came to providing information and things you would need. We even asked if we needed certain things way ahead of time and were told no you don’t need it and came down to the last few days and then they asked for the same documents we offered in the first place.

More communication is needed within VU. During my refinancing process I received a call another department about my late payment that was not to be paid.
