MY home buying experience with VU was wonderful. I had the pleasure of having Kelly Foote and her team help me with my financing journey. They were all very professional and friendly. They never hesitated to answer any questions I might’ve had and they kept great communication. They were certainly most helpful through this time of uncertainty with COVID-19. They were most understanding when the date of my PCS orders changed and I had to stop the purchase of my first home. I would definitely recommend VU to my friends and family.
From start to finish, our home buying process was made as simple as possible. Amanda 1 and Amanda 2 (as we affectionately call them) and Viola were all phenomenal. If I had a question, I could email in and get prompt responses. The online portal made document uploads secure and easy. Even underwriting for us was a breeze. I'm so glad we used Veteran's United and contacted them after they were recommended to us.
Karol Hart was great! And I was very happy With VU until the loan processing went to Beth Bergen. There was an instance several days before I signed where Beth Bergen informed me that she sent an email about documents to sign; the documents to sign weren’t there yet only the ones to review. Additionally she told me to ask any questions when she asked me to sign. I had a question about how I was to pay the closing fees and to verify how much they were. She never answered that question. The day before closing I had to ask again and it was only because Karol Hart was willing to work after hours (1830) that I got the closing instructions email with wire information. So that was very inconvenient and stressful but I cannot stress how appreciative I am for Karol.
