It was good working with Alec. I did think closing cost just kept going up. Then when you’re at closing you don’t want to stop the process so you just sign…. But closing cost started at like 7k then it was 9k then at closing it came in at 11k so it never went down it just kept going up. So I’m not sure what happened and I really didn’t want to put a roadblock up late in the afternoon when I was finally signing… so I swallowed the expense and signed. For this being for veterans you would think you could get better pricing and better interest rates.

Jessica was the best. She was there throughout - answering questions and smoothing problems. Our underwriter was actually over the top and caused a lot of grief. However because of Jessica helping everywhere she could the loan continued relatively smoothly. Because of her, I would return in a heartbeat.
Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real.
