The underwriters made our loan process. Very difficult due to the fact that they didn’t understand options with financial advisors. We were taking money against our assets which did not require a set payback time frame. They were insistent that there had to be a repayment option. Our financial advisor tried to explain it but they didn’t understand. We had to liquidate shares instead which could have cost us one in taxes. Thankfully our advisor was able to sell shares without implications to our taxes. Please educate the underwriters on other options of obtaining money.

Hands down, these two (Elizabeth McAskill and Jennifer Shires) were outstanding throughout. Their follow-through and attention to detail was excellent. They demonstrated true professionalism and expertise in their fields, as they guided me through the home buying process.
