I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. They truly are in this for the right reasons and it shows. They helped me and my family purchase our first home in less than a month and we are forever grateful and blessed!

VU was very helpful and even covered a few thousand in rate extension fees and some underestimations in the final disclosure. They helped forward mail, setup utilities and had partner deals on home security, internet, etc. Overall, very helpful throughout the process and ended up getting exactly what we needed - a house - with only a few thousand out of pocket! Randy was awesome.

They were always quick on responding to my questions, no matter the random times that I would message them, and explained everything so well that it was very easy to understand. As with any home purchase there are ups and downs. My loan officer, Mike Peters, was outstanding. People around him though..... I think the biggest gripe I have is rather than a quick phone call that could have sped some of the processes along, they insisted on texts/emails without any phone call at all. Some of these added time to the process and created frustration on my part as I specifically asked for a phone call as I was sick of all the texts. Again though, Mike Peters himself was NOT the one doing this, he always returned calls if he didn't answer himself and worked hard to get me the best deal he could (I shopped for my loan from four different places including a credit union and a local bank).
